Te Deum Laudamus is a song of praise and thanksgiving to God.

This work forms the middle movement of the triptych commissioned by St Mary's College on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the school. The Te Deum text holds special significance as it was the prayer sung by the seven founding sisters upon their arrival in Adelaide in December, 1868.
Te Deum Laudamus (We praise Thee, O God)

In you, Lord my God, I put my trust
I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame,
Show me your ways, O Lord
Teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
For you are my God, my Saviour,
And my hope is in you all day long.

We praise thee, O God
We acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.
All the earth doth worship thee O God,
The father everlasting.

In you O God I put my trust.

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of hosts!
Heaven and earth are full of the majesty of Thy Glory!

In you, Lord my God, we put our trust
